Dr. Ahmed Zewail currently assumes a number of posts, he is First Linus Pauling Professor of Chemical Physics and professor of  physics at the California Institute of Technology,  Director of lab of the National Science Institute for nucleus science and Editor of the Chemical Physics Letters. 

Zewail is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences (USA); American Academy of Arts and Sciences; American Philosophical Society; Third World Academy of Science (Italy); and the European Academy of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (France); the Pontifical Academy of Sciences; and is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and Sigma Xi Society.
